OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY

BURKAY Construction has received ISO 14001 certification in order to control environmental impacts and environmental risks of its activities in its projects and to reduce the negative impacts on the environment.

By registering with OHSAS 18001 certification the importance it gives to occupational health and safety in general working environment and in the projects it has undertaken, it has proved its sensitivity to work safety before the official authorities.

In line with this point of view, BURKAY Construction has adopted the followings as its own policy: To comply with the laws and regulations related to occupational health and safety and environment, which are applicable both in Turkey and in other countries where it operates, To adopt continuous improvement and development as a fundamental principle in all activities and to achieve our goals of quality, timely production, energy efficiency, cost and profitability with the participation and solidarity of all BURKAY Construction employees, While applying the Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management Systems, to consider the expectations of all parties, including employers, To sort and evaluate wastes at the source by giving importance to the recycling of wastes, To take precautionary measures in the consumption of energy and natural resources, To prevent occurrence of dangerous environments that can cause accidents and to eliminate existing hazardous environments.
